About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Priory Hospital Preston.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating psychological treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide specialist psychological interventions and support patients in achieving their positive life goals and optimum level of functioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans for patients with eating disorders and other mental health conditions
  • Conduct regular 1:1 sessions with patients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of key aspects of the service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Accreditation with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of working with patients with eating disorders and other mental health conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
