We are a dynamic and forward-thinking healthcare organization, NHS Scotland, seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salaried General Practitioner to join our team.

The successful candidate will be based in our busy and friendly city centre practice, serving a diverse patient population with a list size of approximately 11,500.

Our practice is a teaching institution, hosting ST1, ST3, and year 4 students, and we utilize a telephone triage system from 8:30 am each morning.

The role will consist of 5-8 sessions per week, with a workload that includes a selection of triage telephone calls, face-to-face consultations, and on-the-day special requests.

We offer pre-bookable telephone appointments two weeks in advance, and the successful candidate will be responsible for signing repeat and acute prescriptions, participating in duty doctor/duty share, and occasional home visits.

We are a Vision/Docman practice, utilizing a range of digital tools to enhance patient care and streamline our operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
