About the Role

MCS Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our team. As a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing all credit control activities across the group and ensuring their completion within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the collection of outstanding debts.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's credit policies and procedures to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct efficient collection of all debts/payments whilst maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure invoices are paid.
  • Resolve both internal and external queries related to unpaid invoices.
  • Escalate disputed or complex accounts to the Financial Controller promptly for proper management.
Requirements
  • Experience handling a large customer base, including consumer and commercial debt.
  • Experience managing a direct debit portfolio.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
