This is a remarkable opportunity for a driven and passionate, highly skilled Cardiac Technologist to become part of our team during a period of significant expansion and enhancement. The selected individual will oversee the daily clinical operations of the Non-Invasive service and contribute to the advancement of this facility, ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of innovative diagnostic methodologies.
Work Environment
The team follows a flexible shift schedule to accommodate the clinic's requirements (operating hours from 8am to 8pm) while promoting a healthy work/life balance for all staff members. The clinic is situated in a vibrant area, easily accessible for commuters and surrounded by a diverse selection of dining and shopping options.
Key Responsibilities
The non-invasive department consists of a compact team responsible for various procedures, including pacing assessments, ambulatory monitoring, and stress evaluations. The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Fitting and analyzing Holter/event monitors.
- Leading Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT).
- Conducting Cardio-Pulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) with full training provided.
- Performing independent checks on ILR, Pacemaker, ICD, and CRT devices, including remote monitoring.
- Managing stock rotation and ordering to maintain adequate supply levels.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the non-invasive service, addressing any clinical or non-clinical inquiries from staff or patients as necessary.

Candidate Profile
Essential Qualities

Essential Skills
- Technical proficiency in measuring and analyzing physiological parameters.
- Prior experience with pacing databases.
- Understanding of inventory management and ordering processes.
Essential Experience
- Proficient in a wide range of non-invasive techniques for assessing and providing therapy for patients with cardiac conditions, including CPET, ETT, and Holter/event monitoring.
- Experience in CRM follow-up.
- Independent CRM follow-up experience.
- Previous experience with remote monitoring.
Essential Qualifications
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent recognized qualifications, along with relevant knowledge and experience.
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience.
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
- BHRS/IBHRE accreditation.
- RCCP/HCPC registration or eligibility.
