Senior Solutions Architect - Salesforce

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Grade Level: 5

The Senior Salesforce Solutions Architect will take charge of a team of solution architects and oversee the technological roadmaps for our essential Omnichannel eCommerce platforms. This role involves assessing our organizational requirements alongside our selected implementation partners to determine how technology can effectively meet those needs.

Your Responsibilities Include:


• Leading the comprehensive design of Currys' Omnichannel eCommerce platforms

• Guiding a team of solution architects in crafting solutions for one of our key strategic initiatives

• Overseeing the professional growth of direct reports

• Cultivating and enhancing in-house architectural expertise

• Comprehending both business and IT needs and drafting solution architecture documents that clearly outline necessary actions, including both high-level and detailed designs along with integration contracts

• Ensuring that all solution architectures or architectural components align with the target enterprise architecture, standards, and principles

• Assisting and, where feasible, owning the design and documentation of all detailed designs

• Collecting and analyzing data to support evaluations and recommendations

Essential Skills & Experience:


• Proven experience as a Lead Solutions Architect in an eCommerce setting

• Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Service Cloud

• Experience in an API-first environment

• Understanding of Azure cloud hosting

• Exposure to MuleSoft or similar integration platforms, as well as traditional integration methods

• Strong communication skills

• Experience in complex IT environments with rapid delivery

• Ability to navigate uncertainty and provide practical solutions

• Comprehensive SDLC experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies (Agile experience is essential)
