About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estates Tradesperson to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Estates Tradesperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our hospital facilities, providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to buildings, equipment, and services
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to colleagues and contractors
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective estate management
Requirements
  • City and Guilds Level 3/ NVQ Level 3/ ONC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel and work at heights
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Experience of working in a pressurised reactive environment
  • Completion of a structured training program in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Engineering discipline for a minimum of 5 years
