The Role: Health, Safety & Quality Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Manager to join our Wastewater Division. This role will lead the HSEQ Department and be responsible for ensuring that all HSEQ standards are met and exceeded across our UK operations, encompassing Site Services, Project Delivery, Manufacturing, and regional service centres.
This is a critical role requiring a proactive approach to maintaining our commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability. The position offers the flexibility of being home-based anywhere in the UK.
Your Responsibilities:- Ensure all staff comply with company procedures outlined in HSE Manuals/guidance notes.
- Proactively introduce HSEQ best practices for both workshop and site equipment and operations.
- Conduct Safety Internal Audits at both workshops and sites.
- Advise staff on HSEQ procedures as needed and provide all necessary HSEQ training in line with training manuals.
- Develop Site Specific Safety Operating Procedures (SSOW) for construction programmes under CDM 2015.
- Proven experience in a Health and Safety and Quality Control capacity, including all aspects of project execution.
- Knowledge of developing, delivering, and maintaining SSOW, including CDM regulations.
- Experience in customer site work, confined spaces, Health and Safety, and Quality is mandatory.
- Technical qualifications in engineering; a degree level qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
