About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our Engineering & Manufacturing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving industrial process improvements and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify areas for improvement in our industrial processes through data collection and analysis, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Apply your knowledge of continuous improvement and engineering principles to eliminate losses and create sustainable solutions.
  • Coach and train employees to embed process improvements into our operations.
  • Lead and manage projects for the Production Department, utilizing available resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate project status to teams and site stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a culture of effective cross-functional teamwork to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the production downtime planning process with relevant teams.
  • Monitor and analyze data to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are maintained at agreed levels.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and team-working skills.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software.
