Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a deputy for the designated Commissioning Project Leader when necessary, including overseeing personnel during shifts.
- Ensure safe operation of the plant, maintaining awareness of its status and the implications of ongoing activities.

- Perform routine tasks with minimal supervision while understanding safety implications in a high-risk setting.
- Represent the organization during Contractors Sea Trials and other operational requirements.
- Deliver assigned tasks in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of work activities as mandated by company policies and legislation.
- Possess experience in commissioning or maintaining mechanical systems within a highly regulated sector (such as Oil, Gas, or Nuclear).
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in high-risk environments.
- Exhibit the ability to comprehend complex mechanical systems, including drawings, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Maintain awareness of Nuclear Site/Authorization Conditions.

About the Commissioning Team:
As a Principal Commissioning Engineer in the Reactor Test Section (RTS) Mechanical, you will play a pivotal role in one of the most extensive and intricate engineering programs undertaken nationally. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on first-of-class submarines, where you will share your expertise and mentor junior engineers to help achieve our collective objectives.
You will also participate in critical event testing for Dreadnought concerning the new reactor plant design.
