About the Role

Leeds Teaching Hospitals is seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will provide a proactive, client-focused service, offering comprehensive and effective advice and guidance to managers. Your role will involve developing the skills and competencies of managers, providing advice and support on employee relations, and contributing to the development of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advice and support to line managers within Clinical Service Units and Corporate Functions.
  • Interpret policy and employment legislation to provide advice and guidance on a range of situations.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of Personalised People Management, our approach to all workforce matters.
  • Work closely with Senior HR Advisors and HR Managers to achieve results and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Good general education, educated to degree level standard.
  • Possess or willing to work towards membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) through postgraduate study or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience in operational HR, with insight into and experience of the various key dimensions and responsibilities of the role.
  • Current Employment Law knowledge and good practice and legislation on diversity.
  • Experience of working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience of working within a customer-focused environment.
