About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist ICU Doctor to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist ICU Doctor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, resuscitate, and stabilize acutely sick patients
  • Participate as a key member of the cardiac arrest team
  • Demonstrate good clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Understand and participate in audit and governance processes

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Critical Care Medicine
  • Registered with the General Medical Council (UK) with a License to Practice
  • At least 24 months full-time hospital service as a Foundation trainee (or higher) grade
  • Advanced Life Support provider
  • Previous experience of working in critical care in the British Healthcare system (not observing)

Desirable Criteria

  • MRCP/MRCS (Part 1) or equivalent
  • Other membership, fellowship, or diplomas
