Job Title: Group Cost Accountant

Agility Resoucing is seeking a highly skilled Group Cost Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing stock takes and producing month-end and year-end accounts across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate costs for new products, considering raw material costs, machine time, labor costs, and relevant overheads.
  • Update costings of existing products to reflect changes in currency exchange rates, staff pay, supplier prices, and production methods.
  • Complete month-end stock valuations and accounting journals.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Qualified finance professional with experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and commercial skills.
  • High-level Excel skills, including the use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
