Job Title: Adult Social Care Lawyer

Job Type: Locum

Location: Remote

Job Description:

We are currently working with a Local Authority based in the North-West, who are recruiting for a locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to support their busy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 10, and advising clients on Adult Social Care matters across the Council
  • Advising on all aspects of adult safeguarding law
  • Advising on plans and assessments for vulnerable adults
  • Advising on the duties of the organisation under the Care Act

Requirements:

  • Strong Adult Social Care experience
  • Previous Local Government experience will be essential for the role
  • The successful candidate must be qualified as a Solicitor or CILEX

Working Hours: Monday – Friday

Hourly Rate: Circa £50 - £60 p/hour, but is negotiable based PQE and candidate expectations
