About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Preparer/Polisher to join our team at BCA Group. As a key member of our Bodyshop team, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for paint and ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare vehicles for paint by masking, priming, sanding, and cleaning panels.
  • Ensure that there are no defects on the prepared panels.
  • Carry out polishing of newly painted panels to remove dirt inclusions and achieve a factory-finish quality.
  • Remove scratches and correct minor paint defects.
  • Perform substantial filler work as required.
  • Support other areas of the workshop as needed.
  • Assist in the training of junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a Bodyshop, minimum 1 year.
  • Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
