Trusts and Foundations Development Manager

Habitat for Humanity Great Britain (HFHGB) is a leading international charity that tackles poverty housing around the world by working in partnership with communities and families to achieve their dreams of a safe and decent place to live.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our team and help develop and increase income from this emerging income stream for Habitat. The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Philanthropy to research new opportunities and manage the existing pipeline to meet our income targets.
Key Responsibilities- Research and identify new funding opportunities, matching them with Habitat's strategic priorities and planning approaches.
- Develop and submit compelling proposals to secure funding from trusts and foundations, highlighting the impact of Habitat's programming globally and in the UK.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing funders, ensuring timely reporting and communication to secure repeat and uplifted funding.
- Develop and implement a robust administration framework to manage funder deadlines, track opportunities, and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
- Proven experience of raising funds from trusts and foundations for development programs across the world and in the UK.
- Strong financial literacy, with the ability to review budgets and manage targets and KPIs.
- Experience of working in an international context, preferably for an NGO or similar organisation.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality proposals and reports.
- Ability to think strategically, plan creatively, and work collaboratively with diverse global teams.
