Role Overview: In this position, you will work in an agile manner to develop and manage a web application that is built on a robust and highly available shared, headless API back-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect & Achieve: You will play a vital role in the complete software development lifecycle of the Xe Corporate Web application and its supporting services. Your relevant experience will drive technical design discussions and decisions. You will seize opportunities to contribute your expertise to the team's decision-making process. Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and architects to identify the most suitable solutions. Be part of a growing team that delights millions of our customers.
- Team Collaboration: You will engage with the team, mentoring and supporting junior developers through pair programming and code reviews. Actively participate in coding chapters and workshops, continuously learning new skills and technologies while focusing on value delivery and ongoing improvement.
- Commitment to Learning: You are a dedicated learner, proactively enhancing your knowledge and skills with a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
We are in search of a senior frontend developer with a solid foundation in software architecture, who is proficient in and passionate about crafting engaging and user-friendly web applications.
Ideal Candidate:
- Expertise in Vue or similar frameworks, with experience in web application development.
- Strong command of TypeScript & JavaScript for writing clean, maintainable code.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Good grasp of software architecture and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
- Experience with PostCSS/SASS/SCSS or similar CSS technologies for styling and optimizing UI components.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and the ability to collaborate closely with designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks or libraries.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using Vuex or Pinia for state management.
- Background in backend development with C#, Java, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with writing unit tests using Vitest or Jest, and knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.
- Understanding of JavaScript build tools and module bundlers like Vite/Rollup/Webpack.
- Experience with Storybook for component-driven development and UI documentation.
- Additional familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and effective collaboration with other developers and stakeholders.
