As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Early Years curriculum and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Fellow Educators: Collaborate with our experienced team to deliver high-quality education and care to our children, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Professional Development: Work towards an Early Years qualification with the support of our staff and training provider, enhancing your skills and knowledge in early years education.
- Teamwork and Communication: Develop strong relationships with colleagues to ensure effective teamwork, seeking support and guidance when needed to achieve our goals.
- Childcare and Education: Provide daily care and support to children aged 0-5, including feeding, nappy changing, and toileting, while also planning and delivering age-appropriate play opportunities that meet individual needs.
- Safeguarding and Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care, adhering to our policies and procedures to maintain a secure and nurturing environment.
- Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe, assess, and record children's learning and development progress, using this information to inform our teaching practices and improve outcomes.
- Enabling Environment: Create a stimulating and inclusive environment that meets the unique needs of each child, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Parent and Carer Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in our educational programs.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene are maintained at all times, adhering to our policies and procedures to prevent accidents and promote a clean and healthy environment.
