Engineering Manager - Rail and Fleet

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and maintenance operations of our rail and fleet division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day depot operations and provide guidance to the team as needed
  • Manage the technical maintenance planning for rolling stock and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations
  • Represent the company in client meetings and liaise with other departments and senior leadership
  • Oversee maintenance operations and manage the engineering team

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the rail industry and experience in fleet management
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a small team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
