About the Role:
A well-established accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to support their growing client base in their Wigan office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts preparation within a practice environment and be ACA/ACCA qualified or have 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for predominately year-end accounts work and client liaison. You will work as part of an experienced and professional team, using a variety of software to ensure compliance with accounting standards and meet deadlines. You will also be involved in the support and training of junior staff, as well as reviewing work.
What You'll Need:
Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential for this role. You must be able to work as part of a team, lead and manage people, and manage your own workload. A proactive approach to problem-solving is also required.
What We Offer:
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £38,000 and £42,000 dependent on experience. You will also have access to a firm-wide benefits package, including holidays, pension contributions, study support, and staff parking. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing career development and training programmes throughout your career.
