About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Enable Scotland. As a Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live independently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management.
  • Assist with household chores and meal preparation to promote independence and well-being.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities and hobbies that promote social interaction and community involvement.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare staff and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a care or support role, preferably with individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of service users.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Mental Health Act and the Adults with Incapacity Act.
