We are currently seeking a Class 2 HGV ADR Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team at our Watford depot. Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading vehicles at the depot while adhering to all health and safety guidelines and operational procedures.
  • Delivering fuel to a range of domestic, commercial, and agricultural customers.
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork related to loading and unloading is completed accurately.
  • Having a good understanding of our delivery area, which covers approximately a 1-hour radius around Watford.
  • Being available to work alternate Saturday mornings during the winter months, which is paid at the overtime rate.

Requirements include:

  • Class 2 / Cat C HGV Licence.
  • ADR in Core, Class 3 (Flammable liquids), and Tanks.
  • Petroleum Driver Passport (preferable but not essential).
  • Previous tanker driving experience would be a significant advantage.
  • Valid Digital Tacho Card.
  • Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience.

Benefits include:

  • Basic salary of £36,759 for a 40-hour week (£17.69 p/h).
  • Scope for overtime (paid at £24.76 p/h), including Saturday mornings, particularly during the busier winter months.

  • All relevant training paid for, including ADR refresher courses and annual DCPC training.
