Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble systems, sub-assemblies, and components for complex systems efficiently, adhering to quality standards and ISO regulations, while meeting production schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bill of Materials (BOM) and customer specifications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • Document technical problems and track them using the FRACAS process.
  • Maintain technical proficiency through necessary training.
  • Serve as a reference point to ensure that assembly technicians are informed of the build sequence.
  • Mentor and train less experienced technicians.
  • Exemplify high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and Health and Safety practices within the assembly areas, supporting and promoting 5S initiatives.
  • Contribute to the Production Team's performance through continuous improvement efforts.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in Electrical Assembly.
  • Proficiency in soldering, crimping, and looming to a high standard is essential.
  • Possession of an electrical qualification or apprenticeship for safety compliance.
  • Ability to interpret electrical engineering drawings.
