Lead Project Engineer

This is a remarkable chance to become a key member of Thames Water's innovative team managing Capital initiatives. As a Lead Project Engineer, you will work closely with a Principal Engineer to ensure adherence to our exceptional standards and expectations regarding design, execution, and safety protocols. Your role is crucial, and your input will significantly contribute to maintaining these high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve optimal technical results from Project Definition Briefs while maximizing value through risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to and enhance Technical Asset Standards continuously.
- Facilitate Design approval between Asset Management and Capital Delivery as required by the Delivery Stream.
- Offer Technical assurance throughout the phases of delivery, commissioning, and asset handover.
Hybrid—You will be required to attend the office weekly and conduct site visits as necessary for the role.
Working Hours:
36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Engineering HNC or HND / Degree in ICA, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Process Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in developing technical project solutions and briefs within your specific discipline.
- Familiarity with project delivery in process industries.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in the construction sector.
- Understanding of industrial processes relevant to your engineering discipline.
- Competitive salary ranging from £46,000 to £65,000 annually.
- 26 days of annual leave, increasing to 30 with tenure (plus bank holidays).
- Contributory pension scheme – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% - 2x employee contribution.
