A leading local authority in the South East is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join their team on a 6-month contract with a potential extension.

The primary focus of this role will be on pollution-related matters, including noise and statutory nuisances, general planning applications, and air quality.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and investigations to identify and address environmental health concerns

• Develop and implement strategies to prevent and mitigate pollution

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

• Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental health matters

• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices

**Requirements:

• Proven experience in environmental health, with a focus on pollution-related matters
