Job Summary
The role of Audit Assistant Manager at Hays Senior Finance involves conducting external audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including private companies, technology firms, life science organizations, financial institutions, property groups, non-profit organizations, and pension schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting external audits for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Liaising and communicating with colleagues, managers, and partners
- Coaching junior staff and assisting with in-house training sessions
- Developing and maintaining client contact and relationships
- Ensuring work is completed within strict timescales and to the agreed budget
- Undertaking ad-hoc tasks as directed by the management team
Requirements
- Experience of account preparation (essential)
- Recent experience in public practice (essential)
- Recent external audit experience (essential)
- Newly qualified CA or ACCA
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to take responsibility and suggest solutions to problems encountered
- Proven success as a team player
- Proven ability to work to budgets and deadlines
- IT literate: Microsoft Office, CCH, Audit Automation, Sage, Xero, CaseWare IDEA preferred
