Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Military Medical Personnel. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our military personnel and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a professional and personal service to patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Assist with clinical procedures, such as recording ECGs, performing venepuncture, and preparing specimens.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ/SVQ) Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in general practice or other healthcare environment as a HCA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), and Safeguarding Children and Young People and Vulnerable Adults Level 2 training.
  • Ability to provide certificates of training or proof of clinical competency from a previous employer or Line Manager.
