This position entails operating Class 1 vehicles to facilitate deliveries to various locations, including residential addresses and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Conducting daily safety inspections of the vehicle
➢ Ensuring that loads are properly secured
➢ Engaging in general haulage and/or transporting temperature-sensitive goods
➢ Performing a mix of RDC, local depot, and commercial deliveries
➢ Executing deliveries in a professional and timely manner
➢ Demonstrating flexibility, the ability to work independently, and confidence in operating various vehicle types
Essential Qualifications:
➢ Valid UK driving licence (Category C+E) with a maximum of 6 penalty points
➢ Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
➢ No significant traffic violations - No DR, DD, TT99, or NI codes permitted
➢ Compliance with regulations - Maintaining accurate records of break times in accordance with WTD regulations (drivers' hours, highway regulations)
➢ Adhering to both agency and client regulations and procedures
➢ Taking ownership of the quality of work delivered
Working Schedule:
➢ Monday to Friday
➢ Start times may vary
➢ Availability for weekend work is required
