About the Role
MW Appointments is seeking a skilled Treaty Reinsurance Broker to join our client's City of London-based Reinsurance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a mixed property & casualty portfolio across proportional & non-proportional contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a 360-degree portfolio management service, including managing client relationships and creating reinsurance programs that meet their requirements.
- Identify suitable markets in Lloyds and overseas, and prepare market broking MRC documentation/packs.
- Lead negotiations with reinsurers and ensure the successful placement and servicing of reinsurance contracts.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in treaty reinsurance within the Syndicate or Company market.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and achieve critical deadlines.
