At Norbrook, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our team in Newry, Co. Down. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality veterinary products while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture veterinary products using approved processes and techniques.
  • Comply with all aspects of the Quality System, adhering to GMP principles and ensuring products are manufactured within defined parameters.
  • Operate processing equipment in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maximize output and efficiency while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on operations, alerting supervisors to any issues impacting finished product quantities and availability.
  • Ensure products are produced according to Production Control Records to obtain required quality.
  • Understand and follow company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 9 months manufacturing experience using regulated work instructions for quality purposes or 6 months experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic level English and Math Skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate within a team and cross-functionally.
  • Confident with the ability to use own initiative and manage own workload.
  • Experience of completing paperwork to a high standard.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns.
