About the Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy for Helen of Troy's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sites across various brands. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing principles, content creation, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy & SEO: Develop and implement content strategies and campaigns to drive consistent branding and achieve higher conversion/user engagement.
  • Plan and manage yearly content budgets for DTC-related activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize content across various CMS platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Retail, eBusiness, Data & Insights, and the broader digital team, to ensure a cohesive and impactful digital content approach.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in content marketing and project management tools.
Audits and Content Calendar:
  • Lead high-level content calendar development, involving stakeholders to populate and update content.
  • Conduct regular content audits to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to brand messaging and standards.
  • Identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies in uploaded content.
KPIs & Reporting:
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics, comparing impact before and after content updates against business KPIs.
  • Use data insights to report regularly on content effectiveness, engagement levels, and conversion rates.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years' experience in digital/content marketing.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing content projects.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing tools and online metrics.
  • Exposure to the EMEA region and familiarity with diverse markets and cultures is beneficial.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge.
  • Project management skills in a matrix organization a plus.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), French a plus.
