Imperial Workforce: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Location: Teesside

Type: Permanent

Salary: up to £48,000 per annum

Working Hours: Continental Shifts - 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Imperial Workforce. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

You will work closely with our production managers to identify and resolve maintenance issues, and contribute to the development of our maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns
  2. Conduct scheduled checks on machinery and parts to ensure optimal performance
  3. Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve efficiency
  4. Collaborate with production managers to minimize downtime and optimize production
  5. Participate in fabrication tours to identify areas for improvement
  6. Perform other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role would be advantageous
  2. Strong organizational and leadership skills
  3. Ability to make decisions independently
  4. Reliability and good timekeeping
  5. Confidence and willingness to take responsibility
