About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Assessments Division as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping people move forward with their lives by conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a person's condition and its impact on their daily life.
  • Use your clinical skills and experience to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Work with a diverse range of customers and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Manage your caseloads efficiently to deliver a high-quality service.
