Forklift Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Engineer to join our team at Red King Resourcing Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance & Repair: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a wide range of forklift trucks (electric, diesel, LPG), diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication with customers regarding the status of repairs and any additional work required, respond promptly to service calls, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, complete all required documentation, including service reports, job sheets, and parts requisitions, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Parts & Inventory: Identify required replacement parts and liaise with the parts department to ensure availability, manage stock levels of commonly used parts and tools in the service vehicle.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Manager and other engineers to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service delivery, participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up to date with new technologies and service techniques.
Requirements: Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
