Alpha Portfolio Services Manager, Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Services Manager, Vice President to join our team at State Street. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for managing a combination of Front Office Services, Middle Office Services, and Onboarding functions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of professionals responsible for providing Front Office Services, including Front Office Data Control, Front Office Support, and Client Query Support.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of State Street's SQL-based data warehouse (SSDD) and provide client query support on complex data set issues.
- Act as gatekeeper of the IBOR record, ensuring the accounting period close and reopening process is adhered to, and monitor the overall health of client portfolios via the operational control framework.
- Project manage the client onboarding process from receipt, preparation, implementation, and Hypercare, ensuring that the Alpha Portfolio Services group meets/exceeds project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including other business lines, to help aid successful delivery of each workstream.
- Assist in the analysis of current/proposed processes and recommend solutions and improved processes, drive the implementation of Operating Models, Service Level Agreements, and Key Performance Indicators.
- Minimum 7 years in investment management operations with a minimum of 5 years staff management experience.
- Industry-relevant qualifications, e.g. IMC, CFA.
- Extensive knowledge of Front Office Services and Middle Office workflow is extremely beneficial, as is experience using SSCD/ESP, EDM, RKS, OSA, SQL, CRIMS, and GTM/TIER.
