We are seeking a skilled Barrister with a background in either chambers or civil litigation to enhance our advocacy team.

Experience in personal injury is preferred, but we welcome candidates with broader litigation expertise.


Your role will involve representing claimants in trials across England and Wales, as well as advocating for the firm's clients at CMCs/CCMCs, Interim Hearings, IAHs, Stage 3 portal Hearings, and other advocacy forms in claimant personal injury litigation.

While the majority of your work will focus on fast track cases, there will be opportunities to engage in multi-track litigation.


As a member of the advocacy team, you will report to the Head of Advocacy and join as the firm's third in-house barrister.

  • Fulfill advocacy requirements
  • Stay informed on procedural changes, case law, and legislative developments
  • Support less experienced advocates with their advocacy and drafting tasks
  • Ensure the delivery of a high-quality advocacy service
  • Travel extensively across England and Wales, which may involve overnight stays

About You:

Proven advocacy experience
Adaptable approach
Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Case Management Systems

Desired Attributes:

Experience in personal injury litigation
Possession of a personal vehicle is preferred (travel expenses will be reimbursed)

Compensation, Hours & Benefits:

Competitive remuneration based on experience
Standard working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30 am to 5 pm Friday
3/2 hybrid working pattern after probation
