About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Nursing Assistant to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients with personal care needs, including mobilization and toileting
  • Assist the nursing team in delivering excellent patient care, working within Trust guidelines and protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in on-the-job training and assessment to develop clinical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a culture of inclusion and belonging, promoting equality and diversity in the workplace
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a related healthcare role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and respect
