Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Parts Controller to join our team at Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited.
About the Role: As a Parts Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the Workshop Manager in the running of the internal parts department, based within the workshop. You will be working closely with the team to ensure the efficient and effective management of parts inventory, ordering, and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of parts inventory, including ordering and stock levels.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the parts department and the workshop.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Highly organized and efficient, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
