We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our ambitious marketing strategy aimed at expanding our presence in the US market. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping our SEO and content initiatives, enhancing Twinkl's organic search visibility to compete with the leading players in the EdTech sector. By driving growth across the US, you will empower countless educators to deliver exceptional learning experiences while promoting a balanced work-life environment.

This position demands a deep understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO tactics to meet aggressive growth targets. You should be results-driven, with a proven history of achieving organic growth and experience in providing detailed performance reports to senior management.

You will possess the autonomy and innovative mindset to leverage all available resources to enhance organic reach, traffic, and conversions. Leading a team of SEO specialists focused on uncovering keyword opportunities and executing effective link-building strategies, you will demonstrate a strong return on investment through your leadership and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Twinkl's SEO strategy for the US market, empowering your team to pursue initiatives that promise significant organic impact.
  • Test and refine strategies within your team; you will play a crucial role in implementing A/B tests aimed at improving organic rankings, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Optimize team objectives, systems, and processes to ensure efficient operations in growing the US market.
  • Report on performance metrics for Twinkl's key growth area to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with PPC-focused teams to maximize acquisition while avoiding overlap; your strategies will be aligned to create optimal conversion opportunities.
  • Lead a team of SEO experts, ensuring ongoing development of their skills in essential areas of Growth Marketing.
  • Continuously refine overarching organic processes, workflows, and strategic documentation.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to exchange and gather critical insights.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing SEO strategies that significantly enhance organic search performance for online businesses.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking strategies, with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
  • Experience in implementing large-scale SEO initiatives, including link acquisition, site architecture, and international localization, with a record of tangible results.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth.
  • Experience in targeting a US audience through organic search.
  • Proficiency in essential SEO and marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
