Job Summary

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Placement and Servicing Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that individual risks are bound promptly and in accordance with delegated underwriting authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of risks on the Policy Administration System.
  • Provide policy documentation and meet agreed service standards to bind risks.
  • Oversight of the e-trade platform and coordination of relevant teams.
  • Meetings with insurers to review progress and ensure compliance with delegated authority.
  • Production and oversight of strategic management information.
  • Work with insurers to deliver underwriting strategy and understand risk appetite.
  • Monitor and control of new and renewal business, including aggregate monitoring.
  • Act in compliance with FCA rules and guidelines and Aon Policy.
  • Take overall responsibility for meeting the team's financial budget/plan.

Requirements

  • Experience of working at BU leadership level, influencing and implementing change.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in insurance/reinsurance broking.
  • Proven track record in programme design and placement.
  • Well-developed influencing skills and ability to achieve success through others.
  • Self-disciplined and organized.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with domestic and international clients, business stakeholders, and external bodies.
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills of the highest order.
  • Strong track record of leading teams &/or projects – able to motivate and inspire team to achieve success.
  • Enthusiastic team player with ability to build and develop positive relationships and capable of negotiating reasons for change / plans to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to establish and maintain relationships with brokers and carriers.
