Job Title: Maintenance Plumber

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team at ASM Global. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of maintenance across our venues, including reactive, planned preventative, and scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on domestic hot and cold-water services and sanitary systems.
  • Undertake planned maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems, including gas boilers.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance and testing on gas distribution systems and commercial appliances.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on circulation pumps, motorized valves, and pressurization units.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical drive systems, including smoke extract systems.
  • Test and maintain fire-fighting equipment, including sprinkler systems.
  • Record maintenance and repair activities on our Computer Aided Facilities System (CAFM).
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel to various venues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Plumbing qualification.
  • City and Guilds Water Regulations & Unvented Hot Water Systems (3345) certification.
  • ACS Gas – COCN1 Core Commercial Heating – Natural Gas Safety and Appliances certification.
  • 5 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical maintenance in a commercial/industrial sector.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
