Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Quarry Operative to contribute to our operations, ensuring the efficient extraction and processing of materials. As part of our dynamic team, you'll play a key role in the production of essential construction materials that build communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain the cleanliness of the site to ensure efficient operations.
  • Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence, making informed decisions to ensure site safety and productivity.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry, with a strong understanding of quarry operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to resolving site issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
