DevOps Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Reed Technology Careers. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing server and network infrastructure, deploying and managing virtual machines, and troubleshooting technical issues related to infrastructure and applications.

About the Role: In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to progress your skills from on-prem focus to Azure, and learn automation tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes. You will be part of a team who is re-architecting an entire product, and finding the best tools to do so.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement server and network infrastructure to support business growth and scalability.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and applications, working closely with development, architecture, and support teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Requirements:

• Strong experience working on-prem using virtualisation technologies such as vSphere.
• Experience designing and implementing server and network infrastructure.
• Experience deploying and managing virtual machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolves technical issues related to infrastructure and applications.
