Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Gas Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team at MarkMay, a leading provider of heating solutions in the social housing sector. As a permanent Gas Service and Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of residents by servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas systems within social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Safety Inspections: Perform routine safety checks for leaks and emissions to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Attend emergency call-outs for breakdowns or leaks, providing prompt and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers about issues, repairs, and safety, providing clear and concise information to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Complete service reports and ensure adherence to regulations, maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to prevent future breakdowns, ensuring the continued safety and efficiency of gas systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Service and Maintenance Technician, preferably in social housing.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on providing excellent service to residents.
