Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Calco Technical Recruitment Professionals. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of renewable energy projects, working closely with our clients to deliver major projects throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercially astute and experienced in NEC contracts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project directors, delivery teams, and senior commercial managers
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial targets and maintaining project profitability
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a leading UK-based Civils Contractor
  • NEC experience and knowledge of commercial contracts
  • Good understanding of project commercial management and commercial targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
