We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team at Panoramic Associates as an Interim Head of Housing Services. This is a critical role in shaping and delivering our housing strategies and ensuring high-quality services for our community.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing housing strategies and policies, providing housing options advice, homelessness prevention, and interim accommodation services. They will also support young tenants, including care leavers and refugees, and advise and engage with private landlords to improve housing access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review housing strategies and policies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide expert advice on housing options, homelessness prevention, and interim accommodation services to support vulnerable populations.
- Support the development and implementation of programs to improve housing access and affordability for young tenants, including care leavers and refugees.
- Collaborate with private landlords to improve housing access and quality, and to develop strategies to address housing-related issues.
- Manage home adaptations and medical rehousing services to ensure that clients receive the necessary support to maintain their independence.
- Monitor budgets and service performance to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Drive workforce development and succession planning to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality services.
- Collaborate with other leaders to enhance corporate standards and ensure that the organization is meeting its goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven senior experience in housing management within a Local Authority setting.
