We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturer of electric buses, in ensuring the development of secure vehicles.

The successful candidate will collaborate with design teams to implement "secure by design" processes, resulting in the launch of cyber-secure vehicles across our customer base.


Key Responsibilities:
• Develop best practice procedures for secure vehicle development
• Create and maintain formal documents, including the vehicle TARA and penetration/software update testing requirements
• Support the Cyber Security Manager in maintaining the CSMS (Cyber Security Management System)
• Keep status trackers up to date, showing the status of all responsible projects
• Escalate major vehicle security risks to the Risk Committee Board for review and action

Requirements:
• BEng Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum of 2 years electrical/electronic design experience
• Knowledge and experience of working to ISO 21434 requirements for vehicle development
• Experience in preparing penetration and software update test plans
• Previous experience in a cyber security development role working in accordance with a relevant international standard
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Hybrid Vehicle Power Electrics and control systems
