Job Title: Team Leader - Residential Children's Home

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our specialist residential service, providing care and therapeutic support for children and young people with severe and profound communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare and have shift/team leadership experience.
  • Provide support to Care Managers through the management, motivation, and coaching of a team of support workers and Senior Support workers.
  • Be responsible for a team that provides appropriate physical and emotional support to children and young people through the work of the care team within a residential environment.
  • Help with the induction of new team members and their continued mentoring and development towards QCF and other mandatory training.
  • Carry out supervisions and deal with Performance Management issues within your team.
  • Take an active role in ensuring that activities are completed, and effectively delegated and day-to-day implementation of young people's individual program plans are carried out efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential)
  • Shift/team leading experience
  • Superb communication skills
  • Highly organized
