About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Lead to join our team at Kerry Coleraine site. As a Quality Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our dairy consumer foods site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer standards.
  • Lead audits and investigations to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality inspections are in place and effective.
  • Develop and maintain process quality documentation, ensuring alignment with Kerry Group, regulatory, customer, and 3rd party standards.
  • Facilitate customer audits and visits to site, ensuring a positive experience and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage audit corrective action responses, ensuring timely and effective resolution of quality issues.
  • Support the development of site quality management systems, ensuring alignment with Kerry Group and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Degree in a food science-related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to record, interpret, and analyze key process data.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Understanding of food safety and quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of the BRC Global Food Standard and specific customer standards as they apply.
  • Ability to solve problems using 8-step practical problem-solving.
