About the Role

Systematix Technology Consultants Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Deployment Technician to join our team. As an IT Deployment Technician, you will be responsible for providing support for relevant IT infrastructure, systems, and applications for a large bundle of Dell PCs and laptops.

About the Responsibilities
  • Configuration, installation, and deployment of all PCs and PC-related peripherals.
  • Configuration, installation, deployment, and support of desktop management suite.
  • Maintaining appropriate desktop and server-related procedures enforced.
  • Performing maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware, software, and systems.
  • Implementation and support of network operating systems and services.
  • Maintaining appropriate disaster recovery procedures.
  • Developing a working knowledge of department-specific applications.
  • Keeping abreast of technical aspects of PC-LAN computing environment.
About the Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology (or equivalent).
  • Up-to-date professional IT certification.
  • 4+ year experience of providing second-line end-user desktop support.
  • 4+ year experience of PC applications/operating systems/hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware and associated peripherals.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Office applications.
  • Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve hardware and software problems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent judgment and strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
