Position Overview:
The Jubilee Street Practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at providing high-quality medical care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both telephone and in-person consultations to assess patient needs.
- Perform home visits to provide care for patients unable to travel.
- Participate in practice meetings to discuss patient care and operational matters.
- Assist with additional services as required to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with external agencies as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient support.
- Adhere to practice protocols for quality and outcome frameworks, prescribing incentives, and other mandated services.
- Work flexible hours as part of a rota system to meet patient demands.
- Evaluate personal performance and accept responsibility for actions taken in practice.
- Manage pathology results and correspondence from hospitals and other healthcare providers.
- Provide coverage for colleagues during their absence due to leave.
- Engage in teaching and supervision of medical students, GP Registrars, nurses, or advanced practitioners.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the consultation room.
- Demonstrate punctuality and effective time management in daily tasks.
- Exhibit professionalism in conduct and appearance at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare for and actively participate in Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessments.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the practice.
